Get A Better Quote publishes general information about private medical insurance in the United Kingdom. Nothing on this site is personal financial, insurance, legal, tax or medical advice. We do not assess suitability, diagnose medical conditions, guarantee eligibility or recommend a particular insurer or policy.

Our regulatory status

Get A Better Quote is not an insurer, insurance broker or FCA-authorised firm. If you submit a quote form, we introduce you to an FCA-authorised specialist broker. That broker is responsible for any regulated advice, demands-and-needs assessment, recommendation and insurance arrangement. Verify the broker and its permissions on the Financial Services Register.

Commercial relationship

We may receive a fee for introducing you to a broker. A broker may receive commission from an insurer and may charge fees. Before proceeding, ask the broker to explain which insurers it can compare, any important limits to its service, all fees and how it is paid.

Named-broker pages

Some pages on this site name individual UK insurance brokers that people search for. Those pages are independent editorial opinion and fair comment, based on public business information. They are not a review of any firm's service, and we do not claim that any named broker is expensive, poor or untrustworthy — only that a single broker's quote is never the whole market, so comparing first is sensible. Get A Better Quote is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any broker named on this site. If you represent a named firm and believe a page is inaccurate, or want it corrected or removed, contact us via the contact page and we will act promptly.

Reviews sections

Where a broker page includes a "reviews" section, it is our own summary of a small, publicly visible sample of that firm's Google reviews at the time of writing. It is not a verified, complete or statistically representative picture of customer experience, and it is not Get A Better Quote's own opinion of the firm. We do not reproduce reviews verbatim or identify individual reviewers. If review content changes or a summary becomes inaccurate, contact us via the contact page.

No whole-market or savings promise

We do not promise that a broker covers the whole market, that every insurer is available, that using a broker will be cheaper than buying direct, or that any particular saving is achievable. Prices and terms depend on current products and individual circumstances. Comparisons should be made on a like-for-like basis.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep the site useful and accurate, but insurance products, tax rules, medical pathways and regulation can change. Content may contain errors or become outdated. Check current policy documents and written information from the relevant insurer or authorised broker before acting.
